Bryant & Faye Lopez at NETA March 3-17, 2012

Hello Students!  While Armando and Nuria are leading a tour to Buenos Aires in the first half of March, we will have Bryant and Faye back at the studio to teach regular classes and private lessons, and to hold other special events.  They will be in town from March 3rd to March 17, 2012.

Ladies Weekend Preview and Mens Giro Workshop

We will kick things off with a Ladies Weekend Preview on Sunday, March 4, from 12:30 to 3:00PM.  This intensive workshop on followers’ technique is a condensed version of Faye’s Ladies Weekend, held yearly in Montreal and Toronto.  The cost will be $40 drop-in, and we will have a discounted payment option for those with a NETA class card of 2 punches + $5 (approx. $31-33).

During the Ladies Weekend Preview, Bryant will hold a workshop on Giros for the leaders, from 2:00-3:30PM.  The cost will be $20 and registration will be limited to 12 people.  The mens workshop is full!

Guided Practicas with Bryant and Faye (Free)

Bryant and Faye will guide practicas on Sunday, March 4 and Sunday, March 11 from 6:00PM to 8:30PM.  The cost will be free.  From Bryant and Faye:

What is a Practica Villa Urquiza? When we go to Buenos Aires we go to a part of Buenos Aires called Villa Urquiza, which is a small neighbourhood where our master teachers Carlos and Rosa Perez run a practice twice a week. It is run at the Club Sunderland, which you may recognise from the famous Sunderland Milonga that takes place there on Saturday nights. In one of the smaller rooms on the second floor they run a practice where some of the best dancers go to get coaching. They run it a specific way.
